Creative Enterprise Mural Challenge

RIBBA’s Creative Enterprise Mural Challenge is a unique opportunity within the 2026 Young Adult Business Pitch Competition, designed to support young creative entrepreneurs while transforming the RIBBA Hub into a more welcoming and inspiring space for youth, business owners, and community members.

This is not an art contest—it’s a paid entrepreneurial opportunity that awards a real-world contract.

Eligibility:

  • Rhode Island residents
  • Ages 18–30
  • Individual artists, designers, muralists, creative entrepreneurs or teams
  • Must become a RIBBA client by completing an intake form
    (A member of the RIBBA team will be in touch to schedule an initial intake meeting after the form is completed)

Application Deadline: Friday, July 31st

Project Details

The selected artist will be commissioned to create:

  • 3 Interior Feature Walls
    • Located inside the RIBBA Hub
      • Wall one: a logo wall 6’9 x 4’3
      • Wall two: 6’9x 6’11
      • Wall three: 6’9 x 5’7
    • Designed to inspire entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, and opportunity

Commission Opportunity

  • $5,000 Commission Award
  • Includes artist compensation, project management, and materials
  • Awarded through a formal project agreement with RIBBA
  • Final design and implementation plan must be approved prior to installation
