About the Program

We are excited to announce the launch of the Skill-Up Program (Pawtucket), a 7-month, no-cost, cohort-based workforce training program for Pawtucket, RI residents seeking employment.

The RIBBA Skill-Up Program is specifically designed for residents of Pawtucket, RI, who are in the early stages or at the entry level of their professional careers. The program aims to equip participants with the essential tools and confidence necessary to secure meaningful employment. The Winter 2025 Cohort is offered at no cost to participants, thanks to funding provided by the City of Pawtucket, RI.

The early consideration application deadline is November 30, 2025.

The final application deadline is December 31, 2025.

Now Accepting Applications

Participants receive hands-on training in both hard and soft skills, including:

Monthly, in-person training in a supportive, cohort-based environment

Communication – clear speaking, writing, listening, and interpreting body language.

Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking – analyzing data, identifying issues, and making sound decisions.

Teamwork & Collaboration – working effectively with others toward shared goals.

Professionalism & Work Ethic – integrity, accountability, punctuality, and quality work.

Adaptability & Flexibility – embracing change and new ideas.
