At RIBBA, we are dedicated to strengthening Rhode Island’s small business and workforce development landscape. With your support, we have provided direct services to over 1,500 small businesses, awarded $165,000 in micro-grants, and assisted clients in securing over $1.9 million in capital through our Pathways to Capital Program. Through our network, we back businesses that collectively generate more than 3,000 jobs.
Our workforce development programs boast an impressive 98% graduation rate, successfully training and mentoring over 200 Rhode Islanders. Our Emerging Leaders Development Program participants secured careers with salaries ranging from $60,000 to $208,000.
We have certified 50 women and minority-owned businesses, with over 20 more in progress through our certification assistance program. Those businesses have collectively generated over $27 million in revenue for the state’s economy.
